1909 Bête Noire Alco Racer
Winner of the 1909 and 1910 Vanderbilt Cup Races on Long Island NY, “The Black Beast” also raced in the first Indy 500 in 1911. Built by the American Locomotive Company of Providence, RI. With it’s 100-horsepower, six-cylinder engine displacing more than 680 cubic inches, it can reach a maximum speed of 120 miles per hour. Classic vintage feel for the den or home office.
