1951 Fabulous Hudson Hornet #92
Herb Thomas was the inspiration for the character "Doc Hudson" in the movie Cars. His first win driving this Fabulous Hudson Hornet was in the Southern 500 at Darlington in 1951. With help from his crew chief Smokey Yunick, Thomas went on to win the 1951 Grand National championship and was also NASCAR’s first 2-time Champion.
